A Day-By-Day Look Ahead:
Day 1:
Minimum Wage: Today we'll start with the basics - the state's minimum wage and defining the workday and workweek.
Day 2:
Meal Breaks: Today we'll review exactly what the 30-minute mandatory break looks like and how to document it.
Day 3:
Meal Break Timing: We'll look at the regulations about when employees MUST take their meal break today.
Day 4:
Daily Overtime: Today we'll look at CA's main overtime requirement (and what the options are to be flexible!)
Day 5:
Weekly Overtime: We'll wrap up the 5-Day Internal Audit Framework by reviewing the weekly overtime requirements and the other wages that may need to be considered.
